About Matthew

Performer, musician, designer since a young age, Matthew continues to surround everything he  does in the world of music.  Matthew has been a life-long director of music in the Catholic Church since the age of fourteen, most notably for Our Lady of Peace, Cleveland, Ohio (2010-2017 and 2020-current), and St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, Brunswick, Ohio (2017-2020).

Matthew has previously released two CD's, "Spirit of Christmas" and "A Little Christmas" bringing joy to the holiday season.  He has composed for special events, and for the Catholic Liturgy, including Mass Settings, psalms, choral and more.  He was honored to be the Evening Mass Music Director for the FEST, an annual Christian Family Music Festival with 40, 000 attendees. (2018, 2019) while working with the FEST creator, Fr. Bob Stec, of St. Ambrose Parish, Brunswick, Ohio.

Matthew's latest endeavor is Sing! Against Cancer- a yearly event to bring people together for an enjoyable evening of faith, music, and hope, while supporting each other and our yearly community beneficiary.

After Matthew's mother was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in February 2020, and experiencing the diagnosis first hand, Matthew began to think about what could be done for the Cancer Community.  During his time at St. Ambrose, he experienced many parishioners and Music Ministry Members who were personally affected by cancer.  This annual event is a way to honor not only his Mother and Friends, but strangers from all aspects of life.

Matthew is married to his wife, Erin for ten years.  They have two adopted children, Vincent (12) and Nicholas (7).  They also have two interesting cats named after cars; Mercedes and Cadillac.
