Kim Hoover

The common thread that runs through my life and career experience is that I have always enjoyed opportunities in which I can combine compassion and creativity to help others.

I studied art and librarianship in college and went on to work as a children’s librarian, until my husband Brian and I became parents, and I became a stay-at-home mom to our three children.

​

Since 2010, I have worked at Our Lady of Peace Church in Cleveland, a job that allows me to participate in various aspects of administrating, planning, and implementing parish activities.

​

Through personal and professional experience, I have witnessed the power of art, music, and faith as pathways to help and to heal. Like so many others, I have lost someone I loved to cancer. My father passed away in 2013 after a two-year battle with lung cancer. He was just shy of his 70 th birthday.

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Sing! Against Cancer and

its message of hope.
